Do you know how to run a lathe? How about weld? Maybe you are good with wood working? Amazingly all of these are skills that aircraft mechanics need/it is really helpful if they can do them. Most of us though have limited exposure and less practice so when someone comes along who is a VoTech teacher who can run a two week class on how to run a lathe and mill we jump for joy (at least I do).
Aaron Gander of Minnsota came out to visit a family at AIM Air and help train our staff up on how to use these machines. One day I brought the camera in and took some pictures, that hopefully are not too dry.
We are so thankful for his help and would love to have any one else with these types of skills come out and help us in training and making our team better.
